F&B Service Manager

Your tasks

You will lead, coach, help and evaluate our full service team and you will actively work ‘on the floor’ every day.

You will ensure that every guest receives a warm and individual welcome and service and strive to work with the team to exceed our guests’ expectations every day.

You provide training, adjust, evaluate and actively collaborate.

You are a true Yalo ambassador and you know the hotel, the F&B concept and the facilities inside out.

You have a broad knowledge of gastronomy and wine.

You can handle complaints professionally and make sure that every guest leaves Yalo with a smile and wants to come back soon.

You ensure good internal relations and communicate smoothly with the kitchen and other departments. You are familiar with the HACCP standards and wear hygiene as a priority.

 

Your profile

You have several years of experience as restaurant or F&B manager and you have a great passion for the hospitality industry.

You love to lead a large team and you are a people manager with an eye for detail.

You have a natural flair and enthusiasm that is contagious to your team and guests and you leave a positive, open and enthusiastic impression on everyone you come into contact with.

You are organized, stress-resistant and flexible. You connect the dots everywhere and teach your team to be aware of this as well.

You have an affinity with the hip Ghent restaurant scene and enjoy working in a vibrant, busy environment.

You want to be part of a great hotel team that works hard, supports each other and has a lot of fun.

You speak fluent Dutch/French/English. Other languages are a plus.

You are a foody with a passion for lifestyle hospitality.

And above all: You make it happen and get things done!
